On March 1, 2008, an important meeting of alumni brothers was held at the ΛE chapter house on the UCF campus. The purpose of the meeting was to define the future vision and goals of the KΣ Alumni Association of Central Florida (KSAACF), which has lost some momentum in recent years. Demonstrating their lifelong commitment to KΣ and interest in ensuring the continued success of the Association were alumni brothers spanning all four decades of ΛE, including several charter brothers. Consensus was reached on several important actions to ensure the future growth and continued success of the KSAACF.

The alumni brothers expressed a renewed commitment and support for the undergraduate brothers and our alumni brothers in need, while fostering fellowship and public service. It was emphasized that the Association can better serve the Central Florida region by proactively soliciting the participation of all Kappa Sigma brothers, not just ΛE initiates. The new Executive Committee brings youth and experience to the Association: President Kevan Stone (ΛE, ’97), 1st VP Lloyd Woosley (ΛE Charter Brother, ’71), 2nd VP David Wright (ΛE Charter Brother, ’71), Secretary Kyle Lambert (ΛE, ’03), and continuing his many outstanding years of service to the Association, Treasurer Richard Patch (ΛE, ’94). Information concerning up-coming events, including quarterly alumni meetings at the ΛE chapter house, is posted on the KSAACF on-line calendar at www.ksaacf.org. The web site also provides information about how you can get involved in the Association as well as contact information to direct any comments and questions.
